Use cases

Project handoffs and approvals

A handoff moves when the stage has the inputs it requires. Completed work goes to the next step, and the responsible reviewer is notified. The brief, the assets, and the decisions stay on the project. A stage does not advance while a required input is missing.

What goes in

The required inputs for each stage, the completed work, the reviewer for that step, and the brief, assets, and decisions that belong to the project. The notice goes only to the reviewer named for that step.

What the engine does

  1. Check that the required inputs are present.
  2. Route completed work to the next step.
  3. Notify the responsible reviewer.
  4. Keep the current brief, assets, and decisions attached.

What your team receives

Work that moves only when its inputs are there, a notice to the right reviewer, and a project record that still holds the brief, assets, and decisions. The reviewer is the person you named for that step.
